Is it safe to visit the Football Museum?

Yes, as long as everybody collaborates. The Football Museum has adapted to follow all sanitary protocols indicated by health authorities, to ensure the safety of visitors and our employees alike. Check all the measures we have taken.

Booking for schools and groups

Group visits are temporarily suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. We shall resume this activity as soon as it is safe for all.

Pictures and videos inside the Museum

Are visitors allowed to take pictures inside the Football Museum?
Yes. We only ask to refrain from using flash and pay attention not to get in the way of other visitors.

Can I make a photo shoot inside the Museum?
Yes, if it is exclusively for personal use. However, we do not allow installation of sets nor use of tripods, additional lighting, decor, or any other item or equipment that may disturb the visit of other people. To schedule and request authorization, send an email to contato@museudofutebol.org.br.

Collection

Does the Museum receive or purchase objects to compose its collection?
The Football Museum does not count on the structure required to store and preserve material items, but offers services to scan pictures and documents related to the history of football in Brazil. Write to cfrb@museudofutebol.org.br.

Does the Museum certifies the authenticity of objects?
We do not provide this service.

Does the Museum preserve objects?
No, but we provide a booklet with great tips to help preserving items such as jerseys and magazines, among other collectible items. Download the booklet here.

 

Rental for events

Is it possible to host events at the Football Museum?
Yes, this is one of the ways you can support the museum management. We have five venues available for rental and also offer exclusive visits for corporate events. Check the details in this page. To request an estimate or schedule a technical visit, write to eventos@museudofutebol.org.br.

How can I schedule news stories and interviews at the Football Museum?
Contact the Museum’s Press Office in advance by means of email address contato@museudofutebol.org.br, in due time. Inform the media vehicle, purpose of the agenda, profile of the spokesman desired, and the deadline. In case of shootings, also inform the size of the team and running time.

I am an influencer. Can I shoot videos inside the Museum for my digital channel?
Yes, as long as you contact the Museum’s Press Office in advance by means of email address contato@museudofutebol.org.br, in due time. Inform the address of your channel, the profile, idea for the agenda, and day/time intended for the visit. Our team will assess the proposal and let you know.
