Golden end
After flying around the world, the player Michael Jackson returned to Brazil to live what would be the end of her career in women’s football alongside her mother and family. Marileia played for another 14 years, winning the Brazil’s Cup title and hanging up her boots in 2009, at an impressive 46 years old.
This virtual exhibition, held at Google Arts&Culture, features images of the player’s remarkable moments, both professionally and personally, to remember the last years of her brilliant trajectory, which left an unforgettable legacy.
